The crime of forced displacement in international law and national law
Abstract
The crime of forced displacement is one of the most prominent features of international and internal armed conflicts. This crime has been a form of repression by dictatorships against their peoples, ethnic or religious minorities or the nation that inhabits parts of the country's territory. This crime has become one of the most prominent violations against the civilian population throughout the globe. This crime has been widely heard in international forums. The results of this crime during the conflict Which took place in the twentieth century as a catalyst and a powerful factor in pushing international organizations and the international community to criminalize and punish those who commit such crimes. This happened during the trials before the international criminal tribunals, in particular the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia,
