Article on the web- State Employees Discipline Code No. 14 of 1991- Amended

Article (1): The expressions stated in this law shall have the meanings indicated below:First: The Minister: The competent minister and the head of the body not affiliated with the Ministry shall be considered as Minister for the purposes of this Law.Second: The head of the department: The Undersecretary of the Ministry, and whoever is the owner of the special grades who manage a particular formation and the Director-General or any other employee empowered by the Minister to impose the penalties stipulated in this law.Thirdly: Employee: Every person entrusted with a job within the ministry or non-ministry.Fourth: The Council: The General Disciplinary Council formed under the State Council Law No. 65 of 1979, as amended.Fifth: The committee: The investigative committee formed by the minister or the head of the department for the purposes of this law.
