With the revolution of technology in the world and with the constant modernization of these technologies, Iraqi law still needs to 1) adopt a legal system that allows the handling of electronic documents. 2) provides the necessary protection for such documents.The development that the world has reached today amounts to the establishment of so-called e-government, which means that the government can be able to provide part of the services to citizens automatically.With the introduction of the e-government, citizens will be able to perform certain procedures, fill out the forms with information and deliver them to government departments and obtain the required service through an information network or digital information system without having to go to the department concerned. He will be able to obtain his personal identity from the Civil Status or passport or renew the driving license of the car and other documents and transactions through the use of computer and digital information system as the citizen fill out the form in the computer and send it to the relevant department through an information system designed for this purpose and pay fees in the same manner and obtain the required document by mail within a few days.
