Effect of Using Illustrations on Verbal Achievement of Special Education Pupils
Abstract
( ) (20) (8) (12) (0.84) . (T-test) .The Current research aims to know the effect of using illustrations on verbal achievement of Special Education Pupils. The researcher used the empirical design of two (experimental and control) groups. The sample was the pupils of second primary pupils in (Al. Muthana and Teachers College Applications) primary schools, totaling of (20) pupils. The experimental group consisted of (8) pupils whereas the control group joined (12).The research made teaching plans of reading subject and a test of verbal achievement of six aspects including thirteen images and 42 questions .The Surface validity was extracted by presenting it to a panel of experts. The Stability was extracted using person conjunction factor reading (0.84). The test was applied at the end of the experiment to know the pupils real verbal achievement. After treating the data statistically using (T.test) for two independent sample, the results showed statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group using illustrations and the control group using traditional way in favor of the experimental group. Thus, the researcher used the necessity of using teaching aids and illustrations in teaching Special Education Pupils. The researcher suggested carrying out a similar study at the third class primary .
