Abstract
The research dealt with the most important cities and ports and their important role in influencing the movement of goods and commodities and their prices in the Abbasid state during its first era whether it was in the countries of the East and the Islamic Maghreb. In terms of its location in the distance and proximity to the capital Baghdad and the goods and merchandise that was brought from these ports and cities and the impact of these cities and ports in determining the prices of these goods.
