Abstract

The research aims to shed light on one of the narrators of Hadith, Imam (Ali bin Harb Al-Mawsili), who was not written about and his Hadiths were not studied despite his high status and position. It was necessary for us to conduct an extensive study of him, as the introduction dealt with his biography, which includes his name, title, upbringing, teachers from whom he narrated, and his students who learned from him. It became clear that he narrated from reliable sources, and reliable narrators also narrated from him.
Then the research dealt with his Hadiths on the virtues of the Companions, as the first section included his Hadiths on the virtues of all the Companions, and the second section included his Hadiths on the virtues of the two Sheikhs.
