Employing Myth in Shaping Advertising Discourse in Contemporary Iraqi Poetry
Abstract
The current research focuses on the study of contemporary Iraqi poetry (from the pioneers to 2003) to determine the extent to which contemporary Iraqi poets benefit from myth in shaping their advertising discourse, and the extent to which it accommodates their desires, and meets their needs in promoting their ideas, visions and programs (political, social, cultural, economic and religious) on their various ideological orientations. Therefore, this study aims to reveal that using the mythical method of induction and analysis, and the study required dividing the research into two sections preceded by an introduction, presentation, and then a conclusion clarifying the most important results extracted from the study.
