The roots of cultural criticism in Ghali Shukri's critical readings - a systematic approach-

The cultural criticism is observed as an intellectual activity that adopts culture as a subject for researching and thinking . It expresses positions towards its development and traits .Abdullah Al-Ghathami presented a critical project in which he declared the death of the literary criticism to be replaced by the cultural criticism. Al-Ghathami ,within his theory , calls for releasing the term of literary from the institutional formal conception and resorting to reveal the aesthetical defects and illustrating what is odious in the discourse. The concept of the implied arrangement in the theory of the cultural criticism comes as a focus concept. This research attempted to bring out an image of the cultural criticism, Al-Ghathami's critical project, and endeavor to make a study of the cultural arrangement employment in a model of Ghali Shukri's critical readings, establishing on the important cultural statements. Our study is based on three axes ,in the first of which , we dealt with defining Al-Ghathami's critical project. In the second axis, we studied the concept of cultural arrangement .In the third axis, we tackled an aspect of Al-Ghathami's critical project in samples taken from Ghali Shukri's critical readings.
