Abstract

Cording the history of Arab and Islamic cities has occupied the interest of many historians, including the academic historian Al-Mawsili Saleh Ahmed Al-Ali, who was known for his extensive historical information about many cities, including Baghdad, especially after learning about the orientalists interest in this city and the history of the Abbasid state. The research concluded that Dr. Al-Ali was not He feels that he belongs to Mosul as much as he belongs to Baghdad, according to national data, and his scientific efforts varied between authorship, investigation and translation
