Abstract

The poetry of intertextuality in the speech of Prince Badr bin Shaker to Abdul Karim Radi JaafarResearch Summary. Intertextuality is one of the critical approaches that contemporary Western criticism has taken care of, from Christinas attempts to Barts transcendentalism. Intertextuality depends on the cross-fertilization of texts and their interaction in a textual structure that results from those interacting texts. Badr bin Shaker. This book is a long poem in which the poet tried to intertextualize and interact with the poetic discourse of al-Sayyab and dressed him in a contemporary poetic dress. The research sought to reveal the mechanisms of that textual interaction with al-Sayyab and with other texts
