Abstract

The research deals with the study of the analogous proof that the grammarians cite after the first proof (Al-Asil/the original). This type of proof appeared with the beginnings of linguistic and grammatical studies, and the research dealt with observing the development of this proof in the grammar books from Sibawayh (D.180 A.H.), Al-Mubarrad (D. 285 AH), Ibn Al-Siraj (D. 316 A.H.), Al-Zajji (337 A.H.) and Ibn Jinni (d. 392 A.H.) to Ibn Hisham al-Ansari (D. 761 A.H.) to determine the extent of this phenomenon, which constitutes a reliable evidence in proving grammatical provisions.
