Dirasat Mosiliya (DM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to publishing research in the humanities and social sciences, specifically focusing on the history of Mosul.


The journal is published under an international deposit license (CC-BY) and is issued four times a year by the Center for Mosul Studies at the University of Mosul, Iraq. It has been in publication since its establishment in 2001 and utilizes Turnitin to prevent plagiarism.


The Dirasat Mosiliya (DM) is a key supporter of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the following areas:

The journal makes an effective contribution to this goal by publishing peer-reviewed academic research in the humanities and social sciences.
