Mosul municipality is one of the oldest municipalities of Iraq, and it had opened almost a century and a half ago. In services sector, the municipality rendered a lot of municipal services, notably during the Ottoman era, and it contributed as much as possible in keeping the city clean, and providing services to the inhabitants.
