Hanbalis of Mosul and Their Scientific Efforts During the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries of Hegira / The Twelfth and Thirteenth Century A.D.

Mosul is one of the most important cities in which Hanbalis appeared, especially it was famous for its hundreds of hadith scholars during the third and fourth centuries A.H. / 9th and 10th centuries A.D. Hanbalis formed a fundamental pillar in intellectual life of Mosul during the period under consideration, through teaching and granting scientific and religious certificates plus authorship.
