Reluctance of pupils and students to register for Turkmen Studies In Nineveh Governorate (Causes - Results – olutions) descriptive study
Abstract
The current research aims to find out (the reasons for the reluctance of students and students to register for the Turkmen study in Nineveh Governorate, reach the results and propose a set of solutions to reduce it), the research sample consisted of (50) individuals in the center of Nineveh Governorate, and the researcher adopted the descriptive approach and prepared a questionnaire that included (40) ) Paragraph weighted on four areas: the first is related to the learners, the second is related to parents, the third is related to the teaching staff, and the fourth is related to the curricula.After finding its validity and reliability, the researcher adopted the Spearman-Brown coefficient, the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, and the percentage as statistical means. The researcher reached a number of results, including: 1- Students' inclinations to another study, which may be more accommodating and understanding for them. 2- The difficulty and complexity of the Turkmen language in terms of writing and pronunciation. 3- Specialized study in one field and one language. 4- The student and the student have difficulty understanding and comprehending the Turkmen language. 5- Fear of repeated failure in studying the mother tongue. 6- The student prefers studying in Arab schools over Turkmen schools because of the clarity of the future vision. 7- The society's view of these schools is that they belong to a specific party and not a government institution.
