Effectiveness of Using the Gradual Progressive Style Associated with Instant Visual Feedback on the Technical Performance of Some Wrestling Handles
Abstract
The research aims at identifying : The effect of using the gradual progressive style associated with instant visual feedback on the technical performance of some wrestling handles. The researchers hypothesized that : There is no statistical significant difference between the average of the experiment group degrees taught according to gradual progressive style associated with instant visual feedback and the control group in the technical performance of some wrestling handles . The research sample included (28) third-year students / college of sport education / Mosul university ( semester 2011-2012) . The students were divided into two groups equivalent in variables : age , height , mass and some physical fitness elements ) . Each group included (14) students . The experimental group was taught by the gradual progressive style associated with instant visual feedback and the control group was taught by the teachers style ( the traditional ) . The researchers prepared teaching plans for the gradual progressive style associated with instant visual feedback . Then , The research experiment was applied on both research groups . The experiment lasted four weeks as a single educational unit per week for each group . At the end of the experiment , the researcher applied the test of technical performance on both research groups . After collecting the results of the test , the researchers analyzed the results statistically by using t-test for the independent equal sample . The researchers concluded a group of results like : The gradual progressive style associated with instant visual feedback was better than the traditional style in the technical performance of some wrestling handles . The researchers recommended the following : Emphasis on using gradual progressive style associated with instant visual feedback in teaching wrestling subject .
