Handoff Priority Schemes in Wireless Mobile Cellular System

AbstractHandoff operation, algorithm and modeling is vital in wireless cellular system. Two fundamental handoff procedures exist. The first model concerning the propagation environment and the second model is the limited channel resources which is dealt with in this paper. A realistic model of guard channel priority representing mobility is suggested and simulated. Keywords: Wireless network, Handoff priority schemes.
