Allegations of Misconduct

The AARJ upholds high ethical standards and is committed to preventing research misconduct through all available measures. While there is no universally accepted definition of research misconduct, the Council of Editors broadly categorizes it into three main types:

  • Mistreatment of research subjects

  • Falsification and fabrication of data

  • Piracy and plagiarism
