Plagiarism Policy

All papers that have been previously evaluated or previously published are subject to examination using a plagiarism prevention program called ithenticate. Plagiarism is a serious violation of publishing ethics. Other violations include redundant research, fabrication and falsification of data and improper crediting of the researcher''''s contribution. Thus, plagiarism, fraud, or intentionally inaccurate statements constitute unacceptable, unethical behaviour and submitting the same research to more than one journal simultaneously constitutes unethical and unacceptable publishing behaviour. It is necessary to mention that the Journal of Research of the College of Basic Education ignores and refuses to evaluate the research in which the percentage of looting reaches 20%.

CrossCheck has developed a service that helps editors verify the originality of research. IParadigms Ithenticate software powers crossCheck. For a searchable list of all journals in the CrossCheck database,

All new papers submitted to BCE are automatically checked using CrossCheck within the editorial system. An editorial board member can also choose to run a similarity report at any other point during the review or post-publication process. The default Similarity Report view provides the percentage of search text that overlaps one or more published searches. Reusing the legitimately cited text may contribute to reducing plagiarism.
