Abstract
The current study examines the significant influence of the Banu Khazr on the political landscape of Morocco, particularly in the Maghreb region. It details their establishment of various emirates, most notably the Banu Khazrun Emirate in Sijilmasa. The research is structured into an introduction, three main sections, and a conclusion. The first section provides a brief overview of the Maghrawa tribe, the second focuses on Ziri ibn Atiyya's lineage, and the third discusses his relationship with the Umayyad state, concluding with footnotes.
