Binuclear Complexes of Co(II),Ni(II), Cu(II) & Zn(II) With Mixed Ligand triethylenetetraamine dithiocarbamate & glycine
Abstract
[M2(L)A2Cl2], [M2(L) 2][M2(L)2(A)2] M= Co(II) Ni(II) Cu (II) Zn(II) A= () . CS2 . . .New transition metal dithiocarbamates or dithiocarbamates and glycine complexes of the type [M2(L)A2Cl2], [M2(L) 2], and [M2(L)2(A)2] where M= Co[(II), Ni(II), Cu (II) and Zn(II), A=amino acid, L=triethylene tetra amine dithiocarbamate, where prepared from triethylenetetraamine, CS2 and Sodium hydroxide. The prepared ligands and complexes were charactericed by IR, UV. Visible spectra, conductivity measurements and magnetic measurements. The electronic spectra and magnetic measurements indicates that some of the complexes have square planer, tetrahedral and the other contain octahedral geometry .
