Abstract

Character contains two mixed elements including truth and innovation ruled by rules and regulations found by the narrator and restricted to ideas by real characters through which the narrator blend with his/her imagination ideas to be added to the story. Gods Benches is one of the important stories included within the last collection written by Mahmood Gendari and selecting this story for the important position of the writer as one of the main Muslawi writers since 1960 and the story was written at the peak period of his literary production. The study consists of an introduction and two sections. The introduction defines the concept of character and the writers biography. Section one examines the character components/ The Factorial Analysis as related to subject and topic/ the assistant and the opposed. Section two deals with the narrative techniques in assessing the factorial model characters as related to the narrative time, perspective and dialogue.
