Journalism of Arab Nationalists in Iraq A Study in the Al – Wahada Newspaper as a Model

After the coup of 8 th of Feb. , 1963 and the downfall of Abdu kareem Qasim (1958 1963) , Al Wahda newspaper was issued . It was the voice of the Arab nationalists in Iraq, a long with many nationalist journals . Its role was changed from secret to public and it had its own plan, sections , pages and editorials in which the attitudes of the paper towards Feb.coup , 1963 Mosul movement 8 th March, 1959 and the contemporary Arabic issues (Syria 8 th of March coup , 1963) and the Arab unity between (Egypt , Syria and Iraq) was difined . Al Wahda newspaper was obliged to stop in the 4 th of April , 1963 after the publication law no .54, 1963 . was issued .
