Abstract

:- .- .- . () () () ()" () : ( ( ) : ( ) () :- .- - .The study aimed at:- Constructing a social responsibility scale of male students practicing sport activities in Mosul University.- Exploring the level of social responsibility of male students practicing sport activities in Mosul University. The descriptive method was utilized using a survey method, as it was appropriate to the nature of the study. The population of the study consisted of (760) students practicing sport activities from all colleges in the university of Mosul except the college of Education for Girls because it does not have male students. The study sample was divided into two groups ; (494) male students (65%) represented the constructing group and ( 226) male students (35%) represented the application group . The researcher used the social responsibility scale as a tool to collect the data. The construction procedure included : ( determining the scale's topics, determining the method of forming the scale's items , primary formation of each topic , scientific steps and procedures in constructing the scale including apparent truth and truth of content of the scale , validity of construction (statistical analysis of items) using the two opposite groups method , internal consistency , and validity by retesting) The statistical tools used in the study were confined to the arithmetic mean, pattern, standard deviation, Carl's Pearson's' curvature coefficient simple correlation coefficient, T-test, hypothetical mean and percentage. The researcher concluded the following: - Constructing a social responsibility scale of male students practicing sport activities in the University of Mosul. - Male students practicing sport activities in the University of Mosul enjoy a level of positive social responsibility that motivates them to produce and perform in the sport field .- Standard levels in the scale of social responsibility were determined for the study sample.
