Abstract

( )( ) / () / . . . . ( ) . .Abstract:This study is about the hero in the poetry of Ali bin Khalaf Al-Huweizi. It is the story of a worrior, a biography of a prince, an image of a character narrated and witnessed by the poet himself in different periods of time, where the poem envisages what is hidden in the description of the hero as well as defining his image, characteristics and deeds in the world of reality. This is due to the fact that the poet is a linguistic witness of what is observed or felt, what circled around the inner self and essence, creating formula and looking for certain values in the light of the motives and aims he has. Eventually, the hero may represent an image which is strongly related to the inner self as well as the object of the poem, rather than randomly accumulated to form a structure with no explicit features. This study is an attempt to investigate the real political life, the attitude toward existence, the vision of thought and leadership by a prince poet who left behind him the joys of life and welfare of a prince, seeking to find a joint popular memory that would turn him immortal and sacred.
