The Effect of the Seven Recitations on Semantic Extension

. .This research studies the Quranic recitations and explains their effect on semantic expansion . The subject has been introduced by two parts. The first defines Quranic recitation and shows the prerequisites of the proper recitation generally agreed upon by scholars . The seven reciters have been chronologically ordered taking into account the first reciters who singled out a separate book . Regarding the second part, semantics, the term of semantic expansion, and the method followed in the application of the term have been introduced.Verses of more than one recitation, which had an effect on expanding text interpretation, have been reviewed and ordered according to the holly Quran. The approach adopted in this research has been analytic and descriptive in that the verses under discussion have been mentioned showing the problematic word and stating the available recitations . Based on linguistic devices , a full discussion is presented without preferring any recitation to another in that all of the seven recitations have been transferred by generation.
