Abstract

The present research aimed at knowing the impact of inductive and deductive methods on developing some literary skills (Literary testing, language ability, memorization, literary criticisms) by fifth class literary Branch .To verify this aim, on main hypothesis and four sub-hypotheses were formulated according to the variables of the research and the tool.The pre-test and post experimental design for equivalence groups were used the researchers had chosen intentionally Al-Zohoor preparatory school and Al-Rabeea Secondary school to be school sample. The student sample consisted of 25 male students for first experimental group who taught by inductive method and second experimental group who taught by dedaetive group.The researchers prepared special instrument to measure the literary skills for both groups . the validity, rehabilitee, item discrimination and difficulties of the tool were proceeds.The statistical procedures consisted of T-test, Pearson Colleration Coofficient, the researchers revealed the following results : There is a statistical significant difference between the first experimental group who taught by inductive method and second experimental group who taught by deductive method with the favor of the deductive method in developing the literary skills as a whole.According to the results , some recommendations and suggestions are presented.
