The Relationship of Psychological Energy and Performance level of some Basic Skills of Handball Players of Mosul University Team

The aim of this research is to know the values of psychological energy dimensions and the performance level of some basic skills, in addition to the relationship between these values and the performance level of handball players. The researcher has hypothesized that there is a statistical significant correlation between the values of psychological energy dimensions and the performance level of some basic skills by handball players of Mosul University team. The researcher has used the scanned-descriptive method. The sample of the research consists of (15)randomly chosen players out of (20) players who form the handball team of Mosul University. The researcher has measured the psychological energy of the sample and has chosen handball basic skills, viz.nocking-test, hand-over test, and exact-scoring test. The researcher has used the suitable statistical means to analyze the data. These are :calculated mean, standard deviation, hypothetical mean, and correlation factor. The results are: 1- The research sample have great psychological energy. 2- There is a positive correlation between the two tests of psychological energy and handball basic skills.
