Abstract

. (30) . ( ) . . (40- 45) . (t-test) . . .The current research deals with the effect of an educational program on the development of Multiple Intelligences of students at Mosul University. To achieve the aim of the research, a number of hypotheses were put . The sample consisted of (30) males and females students recruited from the second year of Holy Quran and Islamic Education departments / College of Education, University of Mosul. This sample represented the experimental group. The researcher adopted the experimental model of one group with pre- and post- tests. To measure multiple intelligences, the Arabic version of (Medas R) measurement was adopted. This version was translated into Arabic by Rana Koshaha; it was regionally made by Branton Sherrer. As for the experimental curriculum, the researcher put certain strategies and activities depending on the theory of multiple intelligences. Class session lasted (40-45) minutes, the aim of which is to diagnose pros and cons in multiple intelligences of the person and to develop them. The results of the (T-test) showed statistically significant differences between mean difference of students grades on the scale of the seven kinds of multiple intelligences in pre and post applications. These results are attributed to the use of Educational curriculum strategies. Thus, the first hypothesis was rejected. The same is with the second one for all seven kinds of intelligence forms of males and females separately, except for motion intelligence of women, thus realizing the second hypothesis. As for the third hypothesis, the results varied according to each type of intelligence and according to sex. It was rejected in rhythmic and motion intelligence with a bias towards males. Regarding linguistic intelligence, women were suprior. Where as the third hypothesis was accepted due to the absence of differences between males and females regarding logical, visual, social, personal intelligences. Given the above mentioned results a number of recommendations and suggestions were made.
