Estimation of immunoglobulins levels and serum albumin in the Patients infected with three species of protozoans causing diarrhea in Neinava Governorate

Ig A (132.5 100 5.1) 138.2 5.4 100 . ,3.511 0.071 4.02 ,0.129 .During investigating the parasites causing diarrhea in Neinava governorate the results revealed 11 species of intestinal parasites : Giardia lamblia, Entamoeba histolytica , Entamoeba coli, Trichomonas hominis, Endolimax nana, Cryptosoridium parvum, Hymenolepis nana, Taenia saginata Enterobius vermiculars,Trichuris trachiura and Ascaris lumbricoides ,in both urban and rural regions. Three species of protozoans were selected for their relation with the level of immunoglobulins in patients infected with Giardia lamblia, Entamoeba histolytica and Cryptosporidium parvum. The results revealed an increase in immunoglobuline level type IgG and IgM in serum of patients infected with Giardia lamblia and E. histolytica and C. parvum and the mixed infection with G. lamblia and E .histolytica. The immunoglobulin level , type IgG and IgM in case of infection with G. lamblia were 1521.4mg/100 ml 58.5 and 159.2 mg/100 ml8.5 respectively. While in case of infection with E. histolytica the immunoglobulin level type IgG and IgM were 1511mg/100 ml50.2 and 142 mg/100 ml 11.2, respectively. In case of mixed infection with G. lamblia and E. histolytica immunoglobuline levels for the type IgG and IgM were 1381.1 mg/100 ml 95.4 and 132.2 mg100 16.1,respectively. Generally a decrease, , was noted in IgA immunoglobuline compared with uninfected persons , 132.5 mg/ 100 5.1, and an increase was noted in case of cryptosporidiasis, 138.2 mg 100 5.4. Also a decrease was noted in the level of serum albumin in patients infected with G lamblia , 3.511 g/L 0.071 compared with 4.02 g/L 0.129 for uninfected persons.
