2020 . It can be said that tourism is the future industry. Tourism advances, extends, and develops rapidly. Expectations of International Tourism Organization state that the tourists numbers for 2020 will be one billion and six hundred millions tourists. So tourism is an essential element to development of Iraq during the current century. As Iraq posses the majority of tourism attractions it will be certainly able to compete with many other countries in this field. So, the research sought to determine the reality of tourist offers and demands as well as its role in showing the capabilities and constituents of tourist attractions, and that through conducting analytical study of this tourist reality in Iraq, and addressing the main problems to conclude the most important conclusions and suggestions which aid to improve the reality of tourism in Iraq.
