Abstract

( ) . . . . : .This paper studies the disclosure of the medical Islamic heritage through the manuscript :"A letter in mentioning the stomach number" Ibn sina Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah (370-428 AH / 980_1037 m), who was known as the President Sheikh, in the history of medical science. He Address the intestine (anatomical study), and the separation of the parts of its names and functions at the time when modern medical devices, were not discovered yet, and indicates that Muslims preceded the West in the issue of anatomy and surgery. This study aims to explain in detail the medical heritage of Ibn Sina through his life and works and his most important writings. And to provide a comprehensive study on the manuscript, and to edit it and spread it in order to allow researchers to make an advantage of it. The value and importance of the manuscript lies not only in its fame author, but due to its scarcity as it is the only unique version in the world, no one of those who translated his biography mentioned something of his writing. Study divided in three sections: The first section dealt with the study author's life The second topic dealt with the study of the manuscript, while the third section dealt with the editing of the manuscript .
