Abstract

The research works on reading the features of the parody character in the theatrical texts of Ali Abd al-Nabi al-Zaidi as a form of parody that is concerned with producing the meaning of verbal and actual contradiction, noting that it drew the features of this character in the axes of constructing the event. The research was subjected to a theatrical reading (assuming what happened) as a parody of a topic that simulates the madness that permits the establishment of war by relying on two topics. The first topic dealt with the determinants of the dimensions of the parody character in constructing the theatrical text, in which it relies on presenting a flash that reinforces the desired idea of the text because it simulates reality, and it does not This is done only by presenting characters moving along the lines of the text, through the dialogue existing between them. As for the second topic, the movement of the parody character in constructing the event of the theatrical text, it was exposed to the character being a kinetic component of the components of the theatrical text, as it moves with the events and plays a role in constructing the theatrical story. The research also adopted indicators for the theoretical framework, among which were: Building the bardic character requires the presence of an attitude that depends on the expression of two meanings the first meaning is apparent and the second hidden, which is the space in which the character operates that produces the sarcastic meaning. The research yielded a set of results, among which the sarcastic nature prevailed. These results focus on the dialogue performance of the parody characters in the play, while the performance structured around representing the authors revolution against the crisis reality. Chapter Four concluded with a study proposal: Defeatism in Ali Abd al-Nabi al-Zaidis theatrical texts, and the research ends with a list of sources and references.
