Abstract

Theatrical performance has opened up to new and expanded concepts by absorbing and crossbreeding with various sciences and employing them in its structure to reach the creation of new aesthetic and artistic data capable of expressing the contents carried by the actor, represented by the messages of the performance and in a more effective way due to the development of topics into overlaps and ambiguities over time. The concept of synchronicity has effectively impacted the development of performance processes, its expansion and its characteristics, and its attempt to express and interact with content. Based on the preceding, the researcher derived the subject of his research (Aesthetics of synchronicity in actor performance and the theatricality of theatrical action). Based on the above, the researcher divided his study into four chapters. Chapter 1 included the research problem, the importance of the research and the need for it, its objectives, its limits, and the identification and definition of terms procedurally. The research problem was specifically defined by the following question: How did the concept of synchronicity work in the actor's performance in the theatrical performance? The importance of the research lies in (attempting to shed light on a new concept from the concepts that overlap with the process of theatrical performance in the theater performance, as it benefits researchers and students in the field of theater in general and the field of acting in particular). Chapter 2 was based on two sections, the first of which was entitled The Aesthetic Dimensions of Synchronicity, and the second of which was entitled Synchronicity between Actor Performance and Performance Elements, by following the researcher's work on the applications of synchronicity in the experiences of many international and Arab directors and showing the methods by which synchronicity was employed in the structure of theatrical performance in the plays of each director. Chapter three included the research procedures and contained the research community, the research sample, the research tool, the research methodology, and then the sample analysis. The fourth chapter included the research results, their discussion, and the study findings. The researcher presented a set of recommendations and suggestions that can benefit from scientific research and the applied field References. Finally, the research concludes with a list of references.
