Abstract
Protest is one of the most important performance tools of the actor, which crystallizes as a technique through his performative references voice - physical movement that is expressed through the acting performance, which constitutes the most important methods created by the skilled actor as a workmanship and artisanship. To convey the spirit of human interaction and awaken the awareness and thinking of spectators, as the protest includes all social classes and age groups, because the protest dimension takes a psychological turn provoked by an individual or group. As a result of social, economic or political conditions that The individual suffers from it because of oppression, injustice, exclusion and marginalization. From the above, the researchers have identified the problem of their research in the following question (Is the protest a performance technique in the experiences of the Iraqi theater) as an attempt to stand on the data of the term protest as a performance technique and as an indicator determines an important aspect of the forms of performance in different forms of theatrical space, and then the importance of research, and the goal of research and identification of terms, where they adopted linguistic and terminological definitions for each of (protest, technology, performance). The second chapter (theoretical framework) has come with two sections: the researchers dealt with (introduction to the concept of protest) and (protest and incitement in the experiences of Iraqi theater), either the third chapter has discussed the research community and the research tool and research methodology and then analyze the sample of (play Al-Matbara) as an applied sample, and the fourth chapter included the most prominent results of the research.
