Abstract

This study focuses on the history and characteristics of the main Jewish organizations operating in Palestine during the British Mandate period (192-1948). Since the twentieth century, Britain has adopted a policy of creating a Jewish political entity in Palestine, which will be a preoccupation for the Arabs, exhaust their strength and hinder their unity. Therefore, the Jews would not have found a foothold in Palestine had it not been for the support, encouragement, and care they received from the countries that controlled the fate of the world. However, the above analysis proves that the first Arab-Israeli conflict actually occurred in 1948. By the time of Israel's founding, the confrontation was between all the paramilitary forces of the Yishuv, Haganah, Irgun and Lehi, which united to create the Israel Defense Forces, which met modern standards at the time.
