Abstract

The current study includes an introduction and two sections . The introduction deals with the poetics of the place. It also contains a definition for both poetics and place . the first section accounts for the habitual place and what it represents on dispersed places in the novel. The second section concerns the negative place which is considered a scene for intermingled events and a reflection for different experienced by different characters in the situations novel. Tatran is a very important work among Nassir's works whether they are novels ,short stories or eritcism. It is translated to different languages in addition to its abundance with literary content. It tackles interaction among different civilizations and the underground world as well as the curbed losses and wishes shown by the character's movement right from the hero to other characters who affect or are affected by fictional representation in the textual content throughout the novel pages.
