The impact of group learning strategy on the achievement of fifth grade female students in science

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of the group learning strategy on the academic achievement of fifth-grade female students, as the sample number reached (59) female students. The researcher used a partially controlled experimental design (control and experimental group) (Al-Farahidi School for Girls) and was rewarded The two groups in a number of variables (Chronological age in months, academic performance of girls in the previous year, intelligence test). To achieve the goal of the research and test its hypothesis, this required the preparation of a main tool: the achievement test, which consisted of (30) items in the final form, and the data was processed statistically using the t-test.) for two independent samples. The results showed that the experimental group, which learned according to the group learning strategy, outperformed the control group, which learned using the traditional method, in the achievement test.
