Abstract

This research aims to track the problem of water resources and its repercussions on Iraqs foreign policy towards Turkey in light of the worsening indicators of the current and future water deficit, because the problem of water resources is the most important problem of the outstanding geographical reality between Iraq and Turkey, which makes it imperative for the Iraqi political decision maker to redouble efforts and grant the crisis Water is more important in order to reach solutions at the level of internal and external policy, because the use of water geopolitics by the riparian countries on the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in general and Turkey in particular constitutes a threat to Iraqi national security.
