Spatial analysis of the volume of traffic in the city of Mosul

This research mainly aims to know the variation in the intensity of traffic on the streets network in the city of Mosul with description. analysis and conclusion. The aim of the research is to show the current reality of the street network in the city of Mosul and measure the extent of variation in the intensity of traffic on it and its efficiency in meeting the economic. social and service needs of its users. The research contributed in defining the characteristics of the street network. determining its directions. the extent of the daily traffic on it. and knowing the efficiency of the road in meeting all the different needs of its users by following the field study (traffic census method). which is one of the best ways to measure the intensity of motor transport on the street network.
