Abstract

The research aims to identify: -Measuring the level of positive thinking among students of the College of Education for Humanities. And identifying the differences in the level of positive thinking among students of the College of Education for Humanities according to the variables: -Gender (males - females)Department (Arabic language - educational and psychological sciences)Grade (second - fourth)The number of the research community reached (3308) male and female students, while the research sample reached (200) male and female students distributed between the departments of Arabic language and educational and psychological sciences.The researcher used the positive thinking scale prepared by (Al-Lahebi: 2024) in his study entitled (Job Security and its Relationship to Positive Thinking among Middle School Teachers) consisting of (40) paragraphs with five alternatives ranging (applies to me to a very large extent, applies to me to a large extent, applies to me to a medium extent, applies to me to a small extent, does not apply) and the scores on the alternatives are (5, 4, 3, 2, 1). The scale was chosen because it is modern and has high validity and reliability in addition to its paragraphs being distinct.The results showed the following: -The sample members, meaning that they have an above-average level of positive thinking, or they have a high level of positive thinking.There are no statistically significant differences between the research groups.
