They give aesthetics and originality and preservs the heritage, and Jamal Al-Ghitani, with his great literary and linguistic ability, was able to employ these customs in the novel (Al-Zayni Barakat). He benefited greatly from it and made it tamper with his distinguished language and style. The customs and traditions have been prominent in his novelist text to point out the aesthetics of the period that the novel conveyed and how the power of those well-established customs in society were used to their advantage.
