Majd al-din Ibn AL- theer in bn KhalliKans, Wafayat aL-a,yan wa-anba abna alzaman A Tcxtual Study

The research deals with a textual study of the life of Majd al-din abu Alsaadat Abn Althaar (606 A.tl/1209Ap) by Bn Khallikan.It aims at discussing the value of Wafayat al-a,yan wa anba alzaman by presenting the biography of Majd al-din and the influence of the author's relationship with the sons of al-atheer on presenting his perceptions about them.
The study is divided into certain items: the biography of Bn Khallikan and its presentation in a way that suits his relationship with Mosul and its sheiks, the reason that makes Abn Khallikan write about the life of the sons of Altheer, Majd al – din, Azz al – din , and Thiya Aldin.Besides his analysis of Majd aldin's life and his relation ship with the authority are given an account
