The Zangids in Mosul through the Book of Al-Kawakib Al-Dariah by Ibn Kāḍī Shuhba (d. 874 AH / 1469 AD )

The research was devoted to a specific aspect of the book Al-Kawakib Al-Duriya in the Al-Sira al-Nouriah, which is the Zangids in Mosul. The book dealt with the Zenkids of Mosul with great interest in the importance of the Zangi state in Mosul because it was the basis from which the Nouri state branched. We have dealt with the subject of the research through three aspects, namely the political, social and economic aspect. We based this on the texts included in the book, which contained adequate information about the Zangids in Mosul since the establishment of the Zangid state until the death of King Nur al-Din Mahmud, who singled out the book Al-Kawakib al-Duriya with his biography and according to the historical sequence that the book followed
