Abstract

The research aims to study the notion of the linguistic interference, language and terminology, and it points to the role of this linguistic interference which leaves positive and negative effects, linguistically and culturally among the languages. The research deals with the linguistic interference between English and French, as languages have a famous cultural status around the world. However, they have been used on social media scientifically, culturally and too locally by the learners of foreign languages specifically.On the side of all we have mentioned, we study the notion of the linguistic interference from all the aspects: scientific, psychological, cultural and linguistic, especially for the learners of French language in Iraq, as a foreign language takes a third position and as a language that is learned or taught after Arabic (Mother language) and after English which takes the second position as a language always present locally and worldly.
