Self-efficacy and its relationship to self- estimate according to the standards of the capacity building program in education for educational counselors in Nineveh Governorate
Abstract
The current research aims at identifying the relationship between self-efficacy and Self- estimate according to the criteria of the capacity building program in primary and secondary education for educational counselors in Nineveh Governorate, and identifies individual differences in both self-efficacy and Self- estimate form according to the sex variables (male - female) and experience, The sample of the research reached (72) educational counselors, distributed on (29) males and (34) females, To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the Kim and Park scale (2000) to measure General self-Efficacy , depending on Pandora's theory of self-efficacy, and the self-evaluation form scale according to the standards of the Capacity Building in Primary and Secondary Education. The data was processed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS),The results of the research showed that the counseling enjoyed a high level in both self-efficacy and self- estimate, and the research also showed a statistically significant correlation between self-efficacy and self- estimate, while the results did not show statistically significant differences in the relationship between self-efficacy and self- estimate according to the variables (Gender, experience(.
