The Kefaya movement and its political role in 2004-2015
Abstract
The protest movements that appeared in Egypt in particular raised a lot of interest and questions about how these movements were able to control the Egyptian street and bring thousands, even millions, out into the street in opposition to the then existing regime. We devoted this research to the most prominent of these movements, which is the Egyptian Movement for Change, which was known Briefly, the Kifaya Movement, in terms of the emergence of the movement, its goals, its most prominent founders, its actions, and its role in influencing the Egyptian people, then studying the reasons for the end of that movement, and ending with a conclusion and conclusions to conclude that those movements were tools used by external parties (who knew this thing or not). To bring about political change in those countries, and when that change happened, its role ended and it faded little by little until it ended completely.
