This research, which is part of my doctoral dissertation, seeks to shed light on the strategy of direct guidance in the poetry of Saleh bin Abdul Quddus (The Command and the Prohibition) as a model.He achieves it from the strength of the significance, and the truth of what is meant by its necessity.The guidance strategy is concerned - in the first place - with the purposes of the discourse, and the way it is communicated to its addressees, through a dialogue channel in which they share the meaning. The discourse produced by the speaker is not accomplished except in specific contextual circumstances. The production of the significance of any of the discourses is based on the purposes that achieve the benefit from the discourse
