Abstract

The study of the position of the deputies of southern Lebanon in the period (1943-1958) because it is the most important stage of parliamentary life in Lebanon, i.e. since the beginning of the rule of President Bechara Al-Khoury until the end of the rule of President Ambush Shimon is a very important axis, especially in the Palestinian issue and important Arab issues such as the subject of the establishment of the Arab League and the tripartite aggression on Egypt and others and we tried in this research to read a number of projects, issues and treaties that have been signed either our choice for this period is because in 1943 Lebanon got On its independence after a series of serious events and stopped the search in 1958, the date of the civil war in Lebanon, which claimed the lives of thousands of martyrs. We concluded from this research that the deputies of the South Lebanon Governorate had important political positions in foreign and internal issues through their legislative and executive role in the Lebanese Parliament and we have identified the most important issues as a result of the number of sessions held and the words of the southern deputies were collected and summarized as we will note below Despite the large number of academic research that dealt with the subject of the Lebanese Parliament, it did not shed light on the deputies of the South Lebanon Governorate in the important and pivotal period in the history of Lebanon Modern and contemporary.
