This paper attempts to trace a phenomenon observed in the references of Andalusian poetry, that is the attribution of many poetical verses and pieces to more than one poet. We tried to follow as much examples as we can of this phenomenon. We tried to define the reasons standing behind each case, and we divided these reasons into four categories: Those related to the poets themselves, those related to the poems, those related to the references containing these poems and those related to the Andalusian poetesses. We then presented examples for each reason of these misattribution. After each example we practiced different measures to define the true attribution of the verses to their original poets.
